Yoga Class Schedule Fall 2012

Give yourself the gift of relaxation, increased energy, balance and improved health and well-being. Group classes provide a time to relax and de-stress; a chance to reflect and rejuvenate; and an opportunity to get inspired about beginning or deepening your yoga practice and living a healthy lifestyle.
Tuesday 6:30-7:30pm - Kripalu Yoga
October 30 - December 4, 2012

Saturday 8:30- 9:30am - Intro to Ashtanga Yoga
November 3 - December 8, 2012 

Kripalu Yoga
A gentle style of yoga. The class structure allows you to deepen your practice at your own individual level; modifications and variations of poses are taught based on your personal needs.  All levels of students are welcome. No experience needed.

Introduction to Ashtanga Yoga 
A vigorous flowing style of yoga. This class will teach the fundamentals of the primary series; synchronizing steady breath (known as ujjayi) with an uninterrupted series of postures (vinyasa). Classes are appropriate for those in good physical condition, both experienced students and beginners who want a vigorous practice.

Classes are held on Karyn's private residence in Heath, Texas in a peaceful and quiet yoga room. Classes are perfect for those who want to practice in a non-gym, non-studio, and non-competitive environment.  The small class size nurtures a supportive community with fellow practitioners and allows for personal attention and hands-on adjustments. 

Space is limited. Pre-registration is required. $75 for 6-week session. Please contact Karyn at (214)460-4868 or email Karyn for more information. Tuition may be reimbursed by some health insurance providers. Please check with your insurance provider. 

 Private Yoga Sessions & Groups

Work one-on-one with Karyn in a private setting to learn yoga, deepen your practice and live healthy. You will receive detailed instruction and hands-on adjustments.

Group classes, corporate classes and workshops available; kid's yoga, beginner's yoga, Kripalu yoga, Ashtanga yoga, prenatal/postnatal yoga, restorative yoga, meditation and breathing practices. If you would like to schedule a private lesson or if you have a group of people interested in having a specific class or workshop, please contact Karyn for info and prices.


Mom's Night In: Yoga Party
Thursday, October 18, 2012 
Time: 7:30-9:30 pm 
Cost: FREE (open to Moms Club of Rockwall Members Only)

Join Karyn for a fun, playful and relaxing night of yoga with the girls. Karyn will offer a 60-minute class which will include gentle stretching, breathing exercises, partner-assisted yoga, and finish with a guided relaxation. No yoga experience needed just an open-mind and joyful spirit. Fresh fruit and delightful sweets will be provided after the class. Please feel free to bring a snack to share. All yoga props will be provided. Please wear comfortable clothing.
